El Cartero
Why do you say they were hassled? As opposed to being questioned, certainly something within policer perogative.

RickS
The title says "Arrested".... I think the OP is just looking for a name(s), not the 3rd degree about his terminology.
JayBearII
And for those who are trying to figure out where this happened, it is in west Ajijic. If you go west past Roberto's, past La Huerta grocery, then just past the Italian restaurant (Hostelria del Arte) in the "Japanese" nursery, the Oxxo/Pemex is on your right. Just after that there is a green cactus sign on your left and that road is La Canacinta as is the neighborhood. If you go past that, your next landmark would be Hacienda La Canacinta on your right, and then El Ancla restaurant on your left.

MyHomeSweetHome
There was a facebook circulation going around yesterday calling for a high alert in Chapala and surrounding area on the look out for them. They'd been driving around Soriana in Chapala on Sept 16th taking pictures of children and their families recently and considered extremely suspicious. A tall older expat and another man, dark skinned, nationality unknown. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10206636021572229&id=1623357999
