desertdave
I am trying to locate Yvonne Jensen. Haven't spoken to her since June. On the two telephone numbers I have for her I am not getting a response. Please PM me if you have any info.
lcscats
No notary (normal state notary) is legal down here except for US consulate at Guad. With a few exceptions having to do with business notaries can only notarize in the state they are licensed or other states that respect another states notaries. My info comes from my wife who was a Lawyer/Notary/Mobile Notary/ real estate broker and agent. With a few exceptions no one can notarize in Mexico other than a licensed Mexican notary. Go to consulate or use a Mexican Notary to be legal. Nothin would ruin a year more than a contested will because you have a US notary signing it in Mexico. If you don't believe me I bet none of these so called notaries sign Ajijic Mexico as to location I would bet. Do it right! Its a legal thang. desertdave
Thanks, lcscats for the info. Does the US Consulate come to Lake Chapala Society to do this? If so, does anyone know when and what is needed. Thanks.
