redpepper
http://www.munknee.com/the-10-best-places-to-retire-in-mexico/ I picked a few from the list, before I read it. I have been to about four of the places and would have to agree. I wonder if their picks could be because there are already expats living there? Mainecoons
Full of generalizations although it does list some of the obvious factors: climate, access to medical care and air service. However, it loses credibility when it suggests this place is cheap to live in. For example, there are many places in the U.S., including quality communities like Arlington, TX as only one example, where housing costs are considerably less than they are here. The silliest part of it is that exaggerated description of how noisy Mexico is.
RickS
I thought the silliest was.... world class restaurants. And the old "National Geographic' quote that never was, and that one can sell their house quite easily if they need to; and.... the lake length has really increased, from the 51 miles I knew about to 77 according to him.
