Mexico Doesn't Apologize for Deportation

Recommended Posts

Not sure where your sources are for substantially less than half of illegal immigrants being on welfare, but I am willing ot give sources on 51% being on welfare. Source here and Here.

Geeser, it is not my responsibility to do your critical thinking for you...that is your responsibility. But here are a couple of clues for you. The report referred to is a measure of immigrant households in which at least one member is receiving government aid of any kind and not a measure of individual immigrants. Do you see the distinction? The report includes native-born American citizens who were born to one or more immigrant parents and who simply receive a government-subsidized school lunch as an immigrant household receiving welfare. Do you feel that is a fair assessment?

Then why did you write that silly wingnut political blog of yours?

Huh? - the only blog I wrote was nothing about political? I think you have me confused with someone else. But that's ok, don't worry about it.

An interesting factoid came out today, if you're illegal, well, not much of a problem, you can probably get onto welfare roles etc. and of course if you have a sore throat you can call an ambulance which will haul you to an emergency clinic and then when you can't pay for it, they call a taxi to haul you home - no charge (and yes, I can tell you exactly what happens in Austin, TX)

But, if you claim "refugee" status, you are immediately eligible for a full pallet of Welfare benefits, no questions asked. Guess what most of the illegals are claiming as "status" coming NOB?

Careful, MC, you present real facts and the masses will start foaming at the mouth ! They can't handle the real truth.

Speaking as a potential mouth foamer.....

Yes I can, I'll just buy more Kleenex. "Real facts" can be debatable.

Don't be silly. I have repeatedly referred to the article prepared by the Migration Policy Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan Washington think tank which is funded by the United Nations, the Carnegie Foundation and the Ford Foundation. Let me suggest that you actually read the material and then tell us what you learned.

You just gotta admire Mexico for putting its country and citizens first, over illegals.VIVA Mexico !!!

If the Mexican government puts their citizens first and cares so much about them why have so many of them found it necessary and advantageous to immigrate to the US?

Viva Mexico indeed...

marjority of mex/centamers ect DO have refugee status (w/all benefits). been happening a looooong time. wait untill the spill over of syrians arrive in the US. the old fruit picker living in the shadows is quite outdated. (there is an "undocumented" activist who is on TV all the time from philipines). my aunts mexican house manager's relatives are all on full benefits. she herself is legal as my uncle helped w/that 40 years back. the occassional maids who work under her supervision are "undocumented" & now have "refugee" status. (collect benefits across the board). they also work off the books. i dont blame them, its a good deal! glitner68 has the info 100% correct. people live in the past. agree that reagans artical was not well written (not impressed), but people still use terms 1 2 3rd world. if bennie is elected, i will deport the legal (yes, documented) "immigrants" who have felonies. the ones who came in say from the last 20yrs. the 11 million number is from 2001. they use to fool folks. if most folks here are comfortable w/the US policies thats fine w/me. the term "righty" so old time college. there is not rightwingleftwing. there are issues, thats all. good for mexico. why are so many "oneworld multiculti" agenda types living here, if the policies are lean so far right? hmm.....

hookemhorns, it's all business. the "humanitatian" thing is what the govs want the public to believe. there is an aspect to that, but now its mostly transnational bs. (like the EU). once the trans pacific trade deal passes, there will be UNlimited amount of foreigners in the US. (bad enough we have nafta, but thats another story). the TPT is dangerous, the US will lose their sovernity. (ruled by other govs). the old days people had to pass english tests 2 health exams & more. they had to swear alliegence to the US. now none of that is necessary. matter of fact if the refugees/immigrants are anti american, thats even better. most media pushes that anti agenda, just call it something else, repackage.

What I wrote is that Mexico puts its citizens first when it comes to immigration. My comment didn't address anything else. I think you know this.

Wow, you have some really old scabs to pic, that was 2012 as I recall and it was a "protected" section of the site with warning that if you didn't want to be offended, don't go there - apparently you blew past the warning and now? - are offended - get over it, the world has moved on, I suggest we all should move along as well. But, if you'd like to go head to head, there's PM, feel free, it's unblocked and unfiltered, I allow all levels in. As they say, Liberalism is what looks smart to stupid people. Have at it.

If you attempt: to use that link, you get this message:

You can find the information without LexisNexis...just google "harder to get a job at mcdonalds than to get into harvard." I read one of the articles. Not sure if it was meant to be satirical or not...good satire should have that quality. However, it's a good example of how some people have been cooking the statistics on immigration. For instance, if 100,000 people apply for 1.000 jobs at McDonald's, they have a 1 in 100 chance of acceptance. And if 1,000 people apply for 100 openings at Harvard, they have a 1 in 10 chance of acceptance. See how that works?

I think he said in reference to "illegals," nothing more. I know you can read what he said. So what are you trying to do?

As the one who started this thread, I think we have covered it pretty well. No bickering and division among us here about the enforcement by Mexico. No one seems to have a problem with Mexico putting its country and citizens first when it comes to illegals, nor enforcing its immigration policies to protect its country, as opposed to NOB where there is little enforcement and little concern for its citizens first, and lots of division and bickering over illegals. So, that said, why not close this thread while none of us have our panties in very much of a wad? :D

glitner68 what a sad time for our culture that you would put a "warning" on your website. (its not porn, violent images- geesh). you never have to qualify your observations. havnt seen the site, is it still up? viajero is just typical of the anti american predictable pandantic brainwashing rhetoric he may have picked up in college. i have never censored myself while having a dialoque. like your posts, always did.

Sorry Hud, but you haven't proved anything. The U.S. and Mexico have similar laws regarding immigration and protection for its citizens. If anything, the U.S. laws are a whole hell of a lot more strict. If anything, the U.S. deports a whole hell of a lot more immigrants than Mexico does.

alex, so the 100s of 1000s of refugees coming to the US is what mex does? so mex has open door? most illegals in US, if deported, come right back. (even if they are felons). right, US doesnt have muslims, 3rd world gangs. guess its just too shocking for most expats to even digest. ok, whatever....
