mtsone
Is it possible to buy a new Kindle battery? Or must I buy a new Kindle? After 4 years of daily use, my kindle is no longer holding a charge. Any experience out there?
canmex87
Order a replacement battery from Amazon.mx
Xena
Check at Steren across from Walmart. Also, Ruben at Computerland has been very helpful picking up special items for me in Guadalajara when he goes in each week. He might be able to help you if you don't find one here. ComputerGuy
Unfortunately, no one around here carries such a thing, so Amazon is your best bet. Here's an illustrated look at how to do it: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Kindle+Paperwhite+Battery+Replacement/13044
lamontf
Which Kindle is it? I have a few damaged ones but battery should be good?
mtsone
That's a kind suggestion. It is version 4.1.3. Is that sufficient info?
Serenity6
You can also order from the US Amazon (someone else started a great thread on that subject). I've had a router, a Roku box and other electronics delivered within a week of my order with no issues (so far) and am so happy about it. No customs charges or anything. Opened a mailbox at Sol y Luna, and they call me immediately once my order has arrived.
lakeside101
if it is the kindle "keyboard" I have extra batteries
mtsone
No, It does not have a keyboard per se, only the pop-up internal type. It's the smallest, lightest weight Kindle that was available 4 years ago. It is version 4.1.3. Re: Amazon mailing thread. We have an account at "I Shop Mail." Do they receive packages from Amazon?
