bournemouth
Google Earth has named Emiliano Zapata, in Las Salvias, Calle Vecinos Alerta, which they picked up from the neighborhood watch sign on the corner of the street. http://oi57.tinypic.com/2i9lf5w.jpg

El Cartero
A new generation of illiterates allowed to drive and hold responsible positions........funny but sad. Then what does that say about the real estate maps that show Emiliano Zapata west of Juarez as Jose Torres when even CFE and Telmex and property deeds recognize it for what it is - Emiliano Zapata. John Shrall
When we bought 12 years ago the steet designation was J Antonio Torres for the 2 blocks between Tempisque west to the arroyo. According to maps at that time those 2 blocks east to west, from the carretera to the mountain carried the neighborhood name Las Salvias. East of Tempisque the street was always known as Emiliano Zapata. On the NE corner at Tempisque there used to be 2 steet signs, one for each name. My deed shows the legal address to be J. Antonio Torres also known as Emiliano Zapata. The Vecinos Alertas signs came to be many years back after a really rough patch of robberies. It was a somewhat lame attempt to discourage the robbers, hoping they'd go elsewhere. As it turns out one of the gardeners working outdoors saw a guy run out of a house after a mid-day robbery and called the police. One of the neighbors somewhat foolishly took pursuit on foot not knowing the perp was armed. Shots were fired about the same time the police truck turned the corner. The gun was recovered, the bad guy put away for a long time and the robberies abruptly stopped. The Antonio Torres name has all but disappeared except perhaps for property deeds and maybe some old CFE and Telmex accounts. At one time I had 2 CFE meters each carrying the same street number but different street names. Rarely got them both.
