Zeb
The same tests were done at each lab. Care Diagnostics $882 Chopo $443.38 Dilabim $311 Wish I had known or price shopped. Hopefully, this will help someone else. 2
cedros
Good stuff to know. Where are Chopo and Dilabim?
Kyle
My doctors prefer Chopo. Dilabim has many times failed to sent results to the doctor.

Ferret
Chopo is the very large Guadalajara Lab that Isi (next to Dermika) sends their samples. It is the only lab that we will use.
valbogyo
Great information. Thank you. This is the kind of post that everyone can benefit from.
Kiko
Do those prices reflect a DIF discount or straight up retail?
Al Berca
I posted a similar survey I did a few months ago using Chopo, Go and Care. Same results. Care most expensive, Chopo least expensive and Go a little less than Care. I have never heard of Dilabim and do not know where it is. Jeanneboo
Cost isn't the only issue to consider when choosing a lab or doctor. I have had several doctors tell me to use Chopo as it is the most accurate.

Al Berca
Thanks, Alpha. I did go to Dilabim. Guess I forgot the name. They were not able to do all of the work required for my annual physical so I could not include them for a comparison and did not consider them a full lab, as the others are. nana
What do those tests include. My Perfil Medico completo costs me $2,038.in January 2014 (more than a year ago). How can you all come up with such low amounts. They must not be doing the complete lab tests. I've got red and white cells, many minerals: potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesio, iron, etc, glucose,m colesterol, creatine, acido uriic and many others. What is checked in those low prices? Zeb
Do those prices reflect a DIF discount or straight up retail? I don't know what a DIF discount is, so it must all be retail.
El Saltos
I've had inaccurate results from Chopo. More than one Doc has told me CARE is better. Who knows? I've had to be retested twice at Chopo because of questionable results. I don't go there any longer.
Zeb
This us what was done at those prices: Biometria Hermatica which includes a very long list of results. Also, Quimica 6 which included Urea, Triglicerines, Uric Acid, 2 types Cholesterol & Createnin, Indice Aterogenico. I may not have spelled everything correctly. Kiko
I don't know what a DIF discount is, so it must all be retail. Mexico residents 60 and older get a substantial discount with the Jalisco state DIF card at Chopo for medical tests something like 10 to 15%. I don´t know if the other labs mentioned in this thread provide the same discount. I have not been to a lab in a couple of years though so maybe that has changed. I remembered that I had to ask for the discount, they will not offer it to you otherwise.
Floradude
Does any lab give a senior DIF discount?
Al Berca
Chopo does. They don't even ask me for my card. They just do it and then tell me. Guess one look is all it takes.

I just got this and a stool sample, CRP and a complete thyroid test (5 tests) for 1700 with the INAPAM discount at Dilabim. Never had a problem with them not being able to do any test and accuracy has been fine. They have an 8am and 1pm courier to Guad and results that night or early next day.
