Dear Lakeside 7:

Thank you for your note and comments. Our restaurant is very elegant - truly beautiful and offers top-of-the-line entertainment. Many people come to our restaurant not only for the food and music, but perhaps to have a business meeting, a romantic evening, or simply a party. (Birthday, etc.) Lalo is an extremely talented musician. He not only plays classical guitar, but also pop - he sings and plays piano. When we hire a musician - be it Lalo, Lemon Suite, or even myself -- we all know why we are there. It is to play a soft background of high-quality music and to fulfill any requests the dinners might have. Believe me, none of us consider it rude (no matter the instrument) if someone wishes to converse. If people are coming to hear us perform in concert - which I do every month in our show room - THEN, I expect the audience to be silent. And they always are.

I am going to send a copy of your note to Lalo. He will appreciate your thinking of him.

If you ever get to our restaurant, or to one my concerts, please say hello.

Regards,

GALEN

Not having been to La Mission since the new lunch menu was announced I took a look at the menu and I am quite impressed. My partner and I will be in to sample it shortly. My only request is that my English style fish and chips be served with malt vinegar. I have checked today and my English friends have confitmed that malt vinehar is still the standard in Restarants and chip shops in England.

If you are not aware, white vinegar is often made and sold as such by diluting acetic acid which is a bye product of the petroleum industry.
