tycobb1020
Any suggestions on where to buy basil, sage and cilantro plants would be appreciated. Gracias.
ajijiccharlie
Vivero next to Telmex in Ajijic, or the large vivero in San Juan Cosala. I've never had much luck growing cilantro but my sage thrives. Basil plants come and go and you are more likely to find Thai basil than Italian basil. Lemon grass is an easy one. MtnMama
Several vendors at the Tuesday Farmer's Market carry herb plants. The new cafe and vivero (can't remember the name) that sells Earth Boxes about 1/2 block east of Cafe Magana has a beautiful selection of herbs. dichosalocura
Herb plants can be found at any vivero just about and even at Walmart and Soriana. I would plant the cilantro from seeds and when they are ready harvest them and plant more. Unfortunately, cilantro is not like parseley where it keeps giving. Wookie
I grow my cilantro from seeds. It is easy and fun to watch grow. You can keep a couple of planters growing on a staggered basis so you can have it available whenever you want.
