Sonia
Recently, a women when she got to the Leon airport to fly out of Mexico, discovered her visa had been left at home. It was critical she make an appointment in NY. She received a letter from immigration at the airport allowing her to leave and she used that letter to re-enter Mexico. When we presented the letter to INM here in SMA I was told to expect her to loose her visa and to be required to re-qualify at a MX consulate outside of Mexico. This will be confirmed in an email this week. Saludos Sonia

Temporal, Permanante,? Just wondering. Tomas the lady driving in had a TR pre-approved visa from Houston consulate. Once one enters Mexico with a pre-approved visa and a FMM marked CANJE you have 30 days to start the next steps at local INM. She had no proof of when she entered Mexico and therefore must exit. unfortunately many consulates are poorly informed and expats entering have done little research. Many with pre-approved visa think there is nothing more to do or what is left is to go to local INM, show pre-approval in passport and they will be handed their visa. The lady flying out who forgot her visa had a TR visa for almost 4 years. Her appointment at John Hopkins in NY was extremely important so she had no time to return to SMA, reschedule flight and leave again. saludos Sonia
Intercasa
What letter did she get?
Mainecoons
When my wife got her Temporal at the Dallas consulate, they were very specific about the need to stop at the border and get it validated, since the 30 day clock starts running at that point. They even walked her through exactly what the validation had to look like. She did as instructed and had absolutely no problem with the Temporal filing here. Sonia
What letter did she get? Spencer, the letter from Aduana refers to articulo 20 fraccion III, 79 7 130 de la Ley Migracion stating se le apercibe que tiene 10 dias naturales para abandonar el pais. They allowed her to re-enter with same letter as odd as that is. saludos Sonia
