You have to make arrangements with him ahead of time, once he sees what you need, so he can hire helper(s). Moved HEAVY recliner up, and regular armchair down for us. (Had a guy along, but in the end lifted stuff himself!) Moved a 3-door 22 cu ft fridge for a friend, out of one house with stairs to get to road, then into an upstairs apt. with LONG flight of stairs... no landing to rest at all..... and did a great job.
