I'm flying out Wednesday for my daughters graduation and completely forgot about the pants needing hemmed. To a previous poster, I don't consider Mexican tailors to be incompetent. My preference for a gringo was based on my personal experience with the Mexican work ethic and I couldn't afford to take the chance of a delay. Ditto for the offer of a hundred bucks..wanted to increase my odds of finding someone quickly.
