johanson
During 10 days of March we had 4.7 inches of rain and during a three day period in late May we had more than 3.5 inches of rain. But these were just brief storms. And there has been no measurable rain since late May. (The dates and rain totals are according to the Lake Chapala Weather Net.) The real question is when will it start raining a little every day or two? You know, when will the rainy season really start? When reading other publications they talk about the rainy season usually starting somewhere around the 11th to 15th of the month of June. Why is this date important to me? Not to win a contest, but to know when to come back from Seattle once the cooler weather sets in once the real rainy season starts. Here's hoping the rainy season starts soon
Mainecoons
Yup, we'll have to rethink the start of rainy season contest. Sure looked like it was going to kick off a week or so ago. My mistake.

Shelley Ronnfeldt
And I make the same vote as before (and every year), June 13. Johanson, I think if you planned to be here by the 20th you'd likely be quite safe.
Al Berca
Probably the day after we stop talking and posting about it. Which could mean an extremely late beginning. Like November. Of next year.

We come back from Texas when it starts raining in Mexico. Have had really good rain here and unbelievable floral this year, but summer is approaching now, and about time to return to Mexico. Floradude
Hurricane Blanca was certainly a disappointment. Not even PV received rain.
