kurtvidal
Would I need temporal Mexican car insurance for subject? I assume that is done thru a Mexican company? Is it more expensive than nationalizing a vehicle and getting insurance on that?
RVGRINGO
You must have Mexican automobile insurance by a Mexican insurance company. Nationalizing your vehicle is probably not a viable option and is a separate subject, unrelated to insurance requirements.
RickS
I'm not sure what 'temporal' means in this context, but insurance on a TIP car is available from many insurance sources anywhere from a few days to 6 months (maybe even longer... I just have never needed more than 6 months on a TIP). Driving without insurance in Mexico is asking for some serious potential problems. Conversely, the cost to Nationalize a vehicle, if that can even be done, and then get insurance would be a verrrrrry long payback period, if ever. If this is not what your are asking, then......
