Zeb
Is it possible to walk across the border at Pharr the way it is done at McAllen?
Sumofabit
Possible? Well, it's three miles between the two checkpoints and I do not recall a sidewalk.
Mainecoons
There's a sidewalk but it is a long, long walk in the heat. Several miles sounds about right. If you want to walk across, go to Reynosa.
RVGRINGO
If you take a bus, you can take it all the way to McAllen‘s downtown bus station. They pause at the US border, you and your baggage get off, are inspected, get back on and continue into town. Easy. No hiking in the heat.
