REC Posted April 15, 2015 Report Share Posted April 15, 2015 Does anyone one have recent, personal experience with using this health insurance plan here in Mexico? Looking for actual experience from those who have used this coverage here at Lakeside and in Guadalajara - access to doctors and hospitals, getting authorized for treatment, claims handling, any "surprises", etc. While in most cases I would welcome referrals or recommendation on other insurance companies, agents, etc.in this situation I think I have a pretty good handle on those other options. So I'm really looking for any comments - pro or con, of course - from people who have actually been through treatment and the claims process with a Protex plan right here in our area.
