purplebeads
I appreciate the information about having to discharge a maid etc., Since we may have to employ a new maid (other one sick), we would like to do it properly. We had nothing in writing before as we had no idea that we should. My question are: Is there a boiler plate contract? Do you have to go through a lawyer? Does it have to be notarized? If the maid who is ill wants to return to work, can I establish a contract retroactive with her start date, salary etc. We already have come to terms with the fact she may say we fired her, when in fact she became to ill to work.
