Is tap water ok for dogs in mexico?

Recommended Posts

Summary of topic:

1. Some dogs and cats and humans have digestive difficulties that warrant bottled water or purified water. Others don't. This is how it is in life; we are all different, and some of us may not have good immune systems, for one reason or another. If you want to drink water here without checking it, feel free, but note that the cost of doctors and Rx's is greater than the cost of bottled water and a lot less enjoyable. And vets are very expensive, too.

2. When you move into a new place, check the water. Check how the water gets into the house, and its source. (While you are at it, check how the water gets out of the house!!!) If you rent and/or move around a lot and do not want to pay to check all this, drink bottled water. Note: the fact that Ajijic has pretty good municipal water, as do the fraccs., does not take into account that you might have a sewer pipe leaking into your water line or other problems too numerous to mention.

3. Vow to marry a plumber in your next life. Better yet, vow to marry a Mexican plumber--they are also electricians.
