There will be a special "Snowbird" showing of the movie "Thriller in Ajijic" on Saturday, March 28, 2015, 10:30 AM. If you weren't here or didn't get to attend the Premiere Event, don't miss your chance to see it this time! The movie will be shown in full HD on the Big Screen at Cinemas del Lago theater in Bugambilias Plaza! There will be snacks and wine available for purchase, and lots of comfy seats. Make plans now to attend.

Tickets are $75 Pesos each ($25 Pesos of each ticket sold goes to benefit Cruz Roja IVC... "The life you save might be your own!"). Tickets available SOON at the Cinemas del Lago box office, and the Cruz Roja table at LCS in Ajijic. This is a one-time showing, and tickets will sell out quickly, so don't wait to purchase!!! We had to turn people away at the Premiere because we ran out of available seats!

HOORAY! Today's the day. Join us for the Special SnowBird Showing of "Thriller in Ajijic". It's a comedic Mockumentary about the eccentric characters who live lakeside and follows them as they plan for the Annual "Thrill the World" event held in October as a benefit for Cruz Roja. You'll recognize many of your local friends: Jeritza McCarter, Alexis Hoff, Flemming Halby, Jayme Littlejohn, Earl French, Elliott Joaquim, Fred Koesling, Alex Grattan, Collette Clavadetscher, Liz White, Don & Doreen Chaloner and many of our local Mexican friends as well. You'll enjoy seeing them on the big screen in HD!

Following the 100 minute feature film, we'll run the 12 minute "Out-take/Blooper" reel which is worth the price of the ticket!

It's a fun way to spend Saturday morning. 10:30 at Cinemas del Lago, $75 pesos. It's a benefit for Cruz Roja. Hope to see you there!

Ken, thanks so much for that wonderful compliment! I'm really proud of everyone's hard work to make this happen. It was GREAT seeing a full house and even better to hear the laughter.

I believe we raised a bit over $5,000 pesos for Cruz Roja!

We're looking for a Film Distributor to buy and distribute the film. Anyone lakeside have connections?

Thanks again!

It's SO wonderful to hear such positive comments. What a receptive and fun audience we had! Thanks so much to everybody who came out for the movie, and to help support Cruz Roja. Doesn't the Ajijic scenery look gorgeous on a big screen?

Hensley, we are holding off on selling locally as Distributors tend to shy away from film makers if too many copies have already been distributed. If we are not successful in finding a way to distribute and sell the film, we will have DVD copies made and sell them locally as well as provide a link for a pay-per-view type of format for people living elsewhere. By doing that, they can stream it internationally.

Still intending to donate funds to Cruz Roja for any profits made on the film. :)

Thanks for your interest.

Valerie :)
