I have found a Thyroid specialist in Guadalajara at Bernadette Dr Fernando Bolaños phone 01 33 38 25 27 41. I have not seen him yet, still waiting on more tests, but am going to make an appt. in about a week. Dr. Najar cardiologist recommended him to me and I trust Dr. Najar. Sometimes specialists aren't needed if you find the right doctor. He is located close to Deliciosa and almost across the street from Guad. Farmacia on main road from Chapala to Ajijic. I would prefer a thyroid specialist for this particular issue. Additionally, Dr. Santiago's fees are almost double the fees that most specialists I've seen lakeside charge.
