RVGRINGO
I think you will have to take it to the sewing machine neighborhood in Guadalajara. Some of the sewers in Ajijic can probably give you directions, or you can use Google to search in Spanish. No, not that kind of sewer.

carmelbaloney
There is a man that comes to Ajijic Centro door to door fixing sewing machines. He was recommended to me by my senior Mexican neighbour. He did a few adjustments on my Kenmore machine and fixed the problem I was having of it skipping a stitch now and again and also making a big hole in the fabric every few stitches. His name is Daniel Franco Esqueda. A very nice man about early 60's. Phone number in Guadalajara is 01-33-36-81-82-17. Cellular 33 13 42 51 34. hensley
We set up Daniel to come and fix 6 machines 1 day and 1/2 of them still were not fixed. Have taken machines to Sertec in Santa Terisita in Guadalajara and they do much better work.
