Adobe Studio Announces

Fish Printing, Tuesday February 17, 11:00 -3:00 p.m

In this workshop, you will learn how to properly print a fish to maximize it's detail. Only the most basic skills are needed and the end results are spectacular! We will be printing on paper and unprimed canvas.

If you wish to print on your own clothing please bring your own cotton T-shirt or other cotton article.

Gyotaku is the traditional method of Japanese fish printing, dating from the 1800's used by fishermen to record their catches, but has also become an artform on its own.

Instructor: Candace Spence has been an artist/educator for over 20 years and works in many mediums teaching adults and children. Along with having her own children's art camp in San Diego she was an art teacher for several private schools in the U.S., Candace also taught art workshops including Gyotaku at the Children's Museum in Escondido, CA and at the Children's Museum in Louisiana. During her stay lakeside she has organized and lead several collaborate art journal workshops.

Class size is limited so register early. $100p deposit is required to hold your place in class.
