Floradude
Sad to admit but even with the best glasses I sometimes cannot read the fine print. Does anyone know where I can buy the old ordinary magnifying glass?
bmh
I forget where I bought mine but I would ask a papeleria and ask them where to find one if they do not have one.
Travis
Does anyone know where I can buy the old ordinary magnifying glass? Where else? I bought mine at the "Everything" Store/Regalos Luz in Ajijic on the plaza. I've also seen them in papelerías. Probably even Walmart, and very likely at the Tianguis. For anyone who doesn't know and might need one, the word is "lupa".

EX-PAT2011
At the Wed. tianguis I got one that slides open and shut for $35 pesos. This guy has all his stuff on a blanket on the ground. But, yes, the "dollar store" as we call it has them, also. I think you can get various sizes, as well. Boy, l love that store. jrm30655
At Wal-Mart on the end of the aisle opposite the pharmacy, they have "readers". I work on electronics and couldn't hold a magnifying glass and still have 2 hands free. Wal-Mart has some 3.75 readers that are just great. They magnify more than my magnifying glass and I don't have to hold them to see. I think they are about $5 a pair
Intercasa
I am happy to read all contracts and fine print for you.... just kidding. 2nd for tianguis
Floradude
I found them at the store across from the plaza for $33. Not the best quality magnification but combined with strong readers from Costco they should do the job. Thanks for the suggestions.
