Mexman1957
Is there a store in Lakeside (besides Walmart) that sells men's housecoats?
jhark
You could try Coppel in Chapala. It's a big department store and there is a good chance you could find one in the men's department.
RVGRINGO
That is good advice. I was always amazed at the number of expats, particularly from Ajijic, who never ventured into the multi-storey department store, Coppel, in Chapala; or even the department store in Ixtlahuacan de los membrillos. Maybe because it is associated with higher prices....Coppel found a niche because it offers items and payments on credit before the days of Walmart etc..I would be surprised if you could find an like for like item there that is cheaper than Sorrina or Wallymart
RVGRINGO
I was going to respond, until I noticed that you chose to trash the names of two local businesses. Adios.

We go in the hot tub ever night and with the colder weather setting in, be nice to have a good terry cloth robe. Wally world has a cheap version that is too small, even though the size is Grande. Will go there tonight.
ajijiccharlie
You might find one at Liverpool or Suburban--both in Guadalajara. Check their websites first. Also, Zara Home carries robes and slippers at this time of year. Again, check the website. You might be able to order and have one delivered. eagles100
I agree with looking at Liverpool and I'd add Sears. Have you tried the local second-hand clothes stores? They do carry more women clothes than men but it's worth a try.
ajijiccharlie
Try this: http://www.zarahome.com/mx/en/homewear/man-c1186057p4207123.html It is a navy microfleece robe at Zara home. I have looked for men's robes in Guadalajara before and it is difficult to find them. It's difficult in the US too. They really seem to be seasonal. lakeside7
Maybe if you stay at a 5* hotel there is one on the bathroom door..or upgrade on a cruise ship, bath robes available for purchase...so my friends tell me
Mexman1957
Went to Coppel and had no luck. Today, made my Monthly run to Costco and they had a big bin of very nice robes. Went to the hot tub tonight and loved it.
