ichbinsaege
It's been quite awhile since I had liverwurst and I know at one point there was a place that sold it lakeside. Where can I buy some currently? Barring that, or in addition, does anyone have a good recipe for making my own?
ajijicsolomon
my hubby buys delicious liverwurst. I think it might be at Superlake but not sure. It is really good. We are from LA and Jewish so have had some good deli liverwurst. He is sleeping but I will ask in the morning and post.

kindred
The best liverwurst is either from the Argentinian guy at the Monday Mercado and it is 45 pesos, I believe, or from my pal Fernando at Lilyfer Deli on Colon a few stores down on the west side from the Plaza -- you will not be disappointed in either. ichbinsaege
A number of months back, I noticed that the venicianas pizza place in Chapala next door to where superior used to be near the corner of Morelos and madero added a Lilyfher logo to their sign. I did not notice any other changes in the building, just that sign. It doesn't look like they have any of their usual items for sale there, so I was curious why they added the sign. Anyone know? I remember when that couple had the cheese counter at the mercado in Chapala. Nice people and I remember their liverwurst was good. I had forgotten they had some.
