Intercasa
Found a site with a good search engine to check federal professional cedulas http://www.buholegal.com/consultasep/ this site is better than the SEP site as you can enter less than the persons full name to get results, like for me you just enter Spencer and choose Jalisco without having to enter middle name and second last name, good to check that the professional you hire really has their cedula

Intercasa
A cedula is a professional license to practice. All attorneys, doctors, architects, accountants and engineers must have one to legally practice. If your does not show up then they probably do not have a professional cedula and they cannot fully represent you, nor may they charge you full fees as a professional.
