Xena
Any guess on how big these babies might get? Males/females?
lindaru
We think they will be medium-sized dogs. I'm checking on the names with sexes and will get back with you. Thanks for asking!
RVGRINGO
It looks like they might just grow to be 60-70 lbs., and I would not be surprised to discover that they are Jindo dogs, one of each of the classic colors.
Shelley Ronnfeldt
Xena, they are all female. Coco is white, Maya is black, Osa is brown.

lindaru
It's correct they are all girls. The vet's best guess right now is about 25-30 pounds per their foster mother.
lakeside101
I'd have to agree with the vet looking at paw size.
lindaru
The little brown one, Osa, has been adopted by a lovely family here at lakeside!!!
nothernewbie
These puppies and very special. They are very clean and will be easy to housebreak. They are also smart and follow when called. They each have their own distinct personalities. The little black one, Maya, has stunning markings and will grow up to be a beauty. Although she plays with her sisters and other dogs she is a little aloof. She is a princess who loves comfy beds and lots of snuggles. Her sister, Coco, is a fireball. She is very self confidant and outgoing, traits that should serve her well.
RVGRINGO
If they are Jindo dogs, and they sure look exactly like ours when we got her at that age, they are excellent watch dogs, but will accept a stranger you invite inside, after a few minutes to get acquainted. They do groom themselves and even chew their own nails to the appropriate length, so are easy to care for. Jindos will keep your property free of wild critters, even low flying birds are in danger, as they are magnificent hunters and amazing trackers. As independent thinkers, they will accept basic training commands, but may override them if something else interests them more. If adopted as puppies, they will accept other dogs, even small ones (we have two small ones) and possibly cats. However, they are wired to hunt anything from mice to deer, so strange small things may interest an adult that has not been socialized from puppyhood. We love ours, even though a local dog expert gave her to us as a probable Lab-mix. She sure isn‘t; she looks 100% pure white Jindo. Look up Korean Jindo Dog with Google. Interesting stuff. nothernewbie
One would wonder why anyone would leave three pure bred female pups on the side of the road.
RVGRINGO
Like ours, they are females. Locals don‘t generally keep the females from a litter and give them away on the street...or worse. They may not be absolutely 100% and they sure aren‘t registered anywhere, but they are fine dogs. When my wife walks ours, she is frequently asked if we would like to breed her. However, we had her spayed upon adoption. It seems that someone has Jindo dogs in, or near Ajijic and I have heard that there may be a breeder somewhere in Michoacan. nothernewbie
There is only one puppy still not spoken for. Coco is the white one and she is cute as a button. Better then her beauty is her personality. She is very self confidant and loves being with people. Last night she met her first child and howled and cried when he left. Please help her find the perfect home.
