nopalesflower
I have been looking as I went out and about. This dog has lots of energy so she could be anywhere. This is so sad.
ajijicbound
Thank you Nopalesflower. Yes, she has lots of energy and was gone in a flash. Still looking though.
catinmex
We were having a drink at Maria Isabel, lakefront, in Ajijic, when I spotted 'Sugar'. She was running with the guys who rent horses. I called her, but she wouldn't come to me...having too much fun!! I asked them if it was their dog because I thought it was the one that was 'lost'. They said that they would take it to the owner. They then got her on a 'lasso' type leash. Next thing I knew they came by again and told me that she had been returned for a reward. I certainly hope this is so, but if not, check in La Floresta where the horses are. I really hope this has a happy ending.
nopalesflower
I hope this is true also. Please post if the dog has been returned. I would recommend tags and microchipping. The La drons and Memo, the vets, can do the microchipping. My Malinois is chipped.
ajijicbound
This is an update from the other board. We have checked out the dog seen with the La Floresta horsemen and it is not Sugar. We have spent the last 5 days driving up and down the streets looking for her but still no luck. Please keep looking for her. We have posted notices and photos all over the area and are offering a large reward for her return. We haven't given up hope. Thanks for everyone's help. Poe Bango
Aw no, so upsetting. I will keep my eyes peeled for Sugar and keep an extra leash and a treat on me at all times in case I see her.
ajijicbound
Sugar is still missing. Owners are still looking and haven't given up. 766-1170 for leads.
nopalesflower
I fear this dog has been stolen. I hope the dog is returned for the reward.
Wookie
The alternative is that there are more than a few dogs dumped each year when the expats return NOB. Someone that is not a member of the webboard may think since it does not have a collar or leash that it needs a home.
bmh
I hope it is the case. That would be the best case scenario.
Natasha
Not exactly...... maybe the second-best.......... first being that the dog gets back to her own home where Mom and Dad are still clinging to an ever-thinning shred of hope.....
