bmh
Can you get a Permanente driver´s license in Jalisco? I just got back from the Transito office in San Cristobal DLC , Chiapas and they are advertising the driver´s licenses for 1, 2, 3, and 4 years as well as permanente. The permanente automobilista is 1903 pesos and the Chofer is 3000 pesos. I do not remember being offered that in Jalisco. Tomorrow I am getting a permanente driver´s license and since I have a valid Jalisco driver´s license I do not have to take any test..sounds good to me, no line and no Alberto to collect mordida. Travis
That would be nice, but pretty sure Jalisco only offers a four-year license. All the info is on the official website. http://www.jalisco.gob.mx/es/tramites/4828
sparks
Want a hassle free licence, head for a small municipio like Cihuatlan near Melaque. Need all your info and 500 pesos and that is about it. Computer eye and knowledge test but no driving.
bmh
In Chiapas if you have a valid license from another State there is no eye exam and no knowledge test and you can get a permanent license, no line: that is what I call hassle free.
