Cramberry juice

Recommended Posts

Dr. Oz recommends drinking pure 100 % cramberry juice for UTI. I know you can buy cramberry juice drinks, but I've yet to find the pure juice, Any ideas? And also does anyone know if the Urinary Track Infection Test kit is available here in Mexico. Again, something Dr. Oz suggests.

I don't think I've ever seen it even in the States. If I think I'm starting to get a UTI I drink OceanSpay cranberry drink. After a 1/2 gallon over two days you will know if it's going to work. However, UTI is nothing to mess with as it can work it's way up to your kidneys and you REALLY don't want that. Perhaps a trip to Similares and their Dr. for 20 pesos and a script for antibiotics might be better. IMHO

The answer to your question is SuperLake

I don't know where to get the 100% cranberry juice though my suggestion is to search for cranberry tablets.

I used to have chronic UTI when I was a kid and the specialists told me that I'd have to drown in cranberry juice to get rid of a UTI. It might help prevent one but not cure.

The tablets are much more concentrated and you don't consume all that sugar, just saying.

This is a long standing debate in the medical community in regards to cranberry juice and UTI's.

Oceanspray is just fine for what you are looking for, just not the mixed kind like Cranberry with mango or such.

WATER, just plain water in large quantities daily ie: 8 glass minimum per day is effective also for helping prevent UTI's.

If you are female and past menopause you may want to seek DR advise as dryness in conjunction with intercourse, bubble baths or many things as such can cause UTI.

If you think you have one it is best to see dr., you need antibiotics. Keep in mind for anyone an untreated UTI can result in kidney damage. In elderly folks a UTI can be very serious and even cause septicemia which can be fatal.
