solajijic
http://www.lakechapalagolfcarts.com/ For those family who want to wander the village this is the ticket! I saw a couple in one at Superlake just yesterday. Several times over the years people have posted here looking to rent a cart and now we can do it. A terrific way to get your bearings when new in town. I am thrilled these are here now!

Islander
We did rent a car for that price. But I am glad to see that option.

RVGRINGO
Is insurance included, in case granny clobbers somebody in a Mercedes? Are they registered and plated for use on the roads?
mexpat06
Yes, plated and insured! You cannot drive them on the Carretera but you can cross it at a light. You should use the laterals. All the rules and info is on the website. I think the logo is wonderful, mountains the back, lake in the front and the bright sun...great!
Humbleclectic
Are these daily rentals or for what term of time do you rent them?

Fox
Maybe I missed it, but the only mention of insurance I saw, is the following. Our carts include theft insurance.
RVGRINGO
I would not consider driving one without liability and legal representation insurance, at the very least; just like an automobile. Just theft would not cut it for me.
Travis
I'm the owner of Lake Chapala Golf Carts. The carts include collision, liability, theft and legal assistance coverage. Obviously, I need to change the website! Thanks for your interest.
hkrause
Thanks, Travis. This looks like an interesting option, especially if we have mobility-challenged company visit and want to look around the village. I've saved the bookmark. Very nice website, by the way. Fox
GOOD LUCK Travis, Thank you for your reply to the insurance question. Just curious, how many carts do you have for rentals? Fox
RVGRINGO
Many thanks for the quick response on the insurance coverage, which I thought important for all to know. That is good news. Good luck with your new venture.
lobita
I agree, nice site. Glad Weebly worked out for you. Best luck!
Travis
Thanks for the kind words about the website. I had never done one, and definitely needed "Websites for Dummies". Thank you Lobita (and Sheila, and a few others) for pointing me toward Weebly, which is exactly what I needed. Fox, we're starting out with three carts for the time being. I have access to more if demand warrants. Cheers.
