Fox
Anyone been to this place for their car inspection, near Trompo Magico? I want to leave from Jocotopec, doesn't look too hard from a map, but just wondering if someone else has used this location. Thanks, Fox

Intercasa
There are different SAT offices depending on what municipality you live in. Some offices rarely require inspections (i.e. Guadalajara Sur office for people living in Chapala and Ixtlahuacan) and other offices such as the one in Zapopan (for those living in Zapopan, Tuxcueca and Jocotepec municipalities) require all vehicles to be inspected. Each office does things differently. One office makes it very hard for Canadians while the others have no problem.
mudgirl
Got mine in Puerto Vallarta in June. Went in the morning, did the paperwork, had to wait til the end of the day to pick up the finished paperwork. car had Canadian plates. You have to provide a Jalisco address. No inspection. Didn't even come out to see if the VIN #s matched the papers. No one asked me for it anywhere.
