J.Miller
If I go to the immigration office with all of my paper work complete, what is the cost me to apply for this new documentation? Has anyone one done it on their own without a facilitator and if so approximately how long did you have to wait from start to finish?
daisy2013
total is 4815 pesos with no facilitator. actually quite easy to do yourself. We did ours when the law first came into effect so that is not a good judge but from when we had our fingerprints done to receiving the cards was 10 days

Floradude
$4815 is correct for a person who does it without a facilitator. The total is divided into two payments: $1000 for changing to a new visa $3815 the charge for the visa permanente

Mainecoons
Some facilitators offer the service of preparing the paperwork and helping you organize all the submittals that go with it, then you do the filing and returning. We did this previously and it proved to be a low cost and easy way of doing it, getting some help and doing some on your own. Spencer's office did this for us previously, I don't know if they still do so.
