Ajijic Posted August 5, 2013 Report Share Posted August 5, 2013 We visit Queretaro 2 to 3 times a month and always amazed at the safety, cleanliness, pride of the people, reasonable costs, sophistication, numerous high-tech businesses, parks, cathedrals, shopping and dining opportunities. What is said to be the largest mall in Latin America is being built and the city of 800,000 is booming. I like going to Queretaro. I have 2 brother in laws there and we have a good time when there. It is a clean city with a nice city center where candy stores, ice cream shops, curios, coffee shops and restaurants seem to be popular businesses compared to here where the businesses in the city center are more for local consumers. I notice a lot of music students in the city center carrying instruments. The sidewalk areas on the corner of the main plaza on the row of restaurants is where we usually eat and they all have good daily specials at a very good price.
