Pet Food Drive

The monthly pet food drive will be on Thursday, June 20th, 2013 from 10:30AM - 1:30PM

at the Shelter Pet food store.

This monthly event occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month thanks to the support from Geoffrey of the Cat / Animal Shelter, and assistance of Animal Buddies representatives who are present to help you each month.

With your purchase of pet food you are helping the Shelter cats, as well as Anita’s Animals, and other animal rescue groups.

When you are making a purchase of food for your own family pet, think about your favorite animal rescue group and their animals, and help by supporting them by donating food.

You can make a donation purchase of puppy/dog and kitten/cat food at anytime, if you are unable to come to the food drive on Thursday.

When making your purchase, inform the store clerk if the pet food is for Anita’s Animals, or, the name of your choice of animal rescue group, and the shelter will hold your donation purchase for them for pickup.

After you have made this purchase, you will need to contact the designated rescue group you have selected. Please let that group know that there is a paid food purchase made by you, that is waiting to be pick up by them at the shelter.

Your donations really make a difference and they are appreciated.

Thank You !

Just to clarify the somewhat misleading information above. The Animal shelter in Riberas contributes monthly to Lucky dog and Anita's Animals as well as other worthwhile charities. We do not house dogs in our shelter any more but we continue to support others who do.

I read the OP twice and then the reply, Where is the mis-statement? This event has been going for way more than a year, and the announcement is always the same. If there is an error or mis-statement, please be specfic as to what it is. I couldn't find it. Just curious. Does the above poster help in any way with this effort to help the rescuers who do all the heavy lifting?

Also in addition to the cats at the shelter, which is an important service. you can also donate to the feral cat colony of over 28 cats that are fed , caught and fixed, at the feral cat colony. Just mention the feral cats when leaving food. Unfortunately donors often forget to do that and the food is not always distributed according to the donors intent. We are happy that the other cats are being fed, but we want to assure that the intent of the donors is followed. So Please indicate for the feral cats as well if that is your intent. They use bag food and canned. Thank you.
