LaChula
Betty slipped into the peaceful place she had been dreaming of early Sunday morning. Betty was an LCS life member, and past officer of the LCS board of Directors. Over the years Betty worked through LCS in several capacities but is particularly remembered as the matriarch of our Post Life program. The gazebo is named in honor of her husband Bill who passed away almost 4 years ago. Together they both held LCS in their hearts and worked hard to see it be successful. They represent a passing generation, and it is upon their shoulders that we stand. Join Betty's family as we remember her in this public setting. In Celebration of Elizabeth "Betty" Schrader's life and service to the LCS and the lakeside community. johanson
Yes so true. I've been here since 1997 and have nothing but good things to say about those two, to include thank you for all of your support of the Lake Chapala Society (LSC). You both are and shall be missed. At least now though, you two are together again. May God bless you.
Fox
RIP Betty, Oh! the Laughs and Fun we had with you and Bill! We met Betty via the internet before moving Lakeside, there were no forums then, like there are today. Betty and Bill even emailed us the route to take from Brownsville, Tx. LCS and Lakeside was fortunate to have you. Peace, Fox
