Interested in recommendations for a Landscape Designer

Recommended Posts

Interested in recommendations for a Landscape Designer and the components of building our new garden.

Our project will include a wall fountain with tile work, one foot high raised flower bed with concrete ledge, a flagstone patio and irritation.

Input about:

a good irrigation installer,

a good landscaping crew,

a good tile worker,

a good mason

and anything else you'd like to add is greatly appreciated.

If you would care to share your advice, experience, costs and photos of your garden with a PM that would really be super as we have zero landscaping and this looks to be a medium sized endeavor. We would sure appreciate seeing photos of gardens, fountains, raised flower beds & such to see examples for inspiration and examples of the worker's work.

Gracias in advanced for your time and input.

We are currently having a sprinkler system put in. This company is local and has designers for landscape work, cuts trees, provides mulch, soil and more. Full service. It has been first class work...CD provided to show us where the lines are run etc. I highly recommend Chapala Tree Service ...Roberto Delgado...phone 376-762-0602. I know they have gardens they have done that you can see yourself. Good luck with your project.

Ditto Roberto. Luis, the man who works with him, has a comuter program that will let you see what your garden will look like. Luis is extremely knowledgeable about plants and what grows well here with consideration as to water needs. These guys are professionals, have good prices and do quality work.

This is a third recommendation for Roberto and Luis of Chapala Tree Services. Reasonably priced, detailed quote and explanation. Luis is a landscape architect and irrigation specialist. His guys PREPARE the soil very well in advance of planting. We loved working with him even though it was only a small project.

And Roberto speaks fluent English and is good looking in addition to being exceptionally polite. What more can you want?

No, no, don't pm the pictures, please post them here of your gardens. I'm getting ready to rent a house that needs a whole garden done - it's just an empty lot with garbage in it now and would like to get ideas.

Louisesnare - maybe we should start a new thread on this.... but if you join the Lake Chapala Garden Club you can visit other gardens; their website has lots of photos http://www.lakechapalagardenclub.org/gardens.html // pm me if you want to get together and discuss gardening, we've been working on establishing new gardens for the past 2 years
