Anybody know where I can find Astroturf, plastic palm trees and pink flamingoes locally? I know I can get these things in Tonala...don't want to go to Tonala. satnrose Posted May 9, 2013 Report Share Posted May 9, 2013 Go for it Alex. The pink flamingo was a pop culture icon in the 50's, hit the skids in the 60's, back in vogue in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Sometimes referred to as the queen of kitsch, still very cool. I love the idea, especially with the plastic furniture. You gotta send us a picture of this when it's done.
