viejomalogato
Since the prospect of not having a car in Mexico is looming, I was wondering how those who are without transportation get to the vet. if necessary. Will the taxi companies do this? Thank you R

stoneleigh
We have never had a car and it is rarely a problem. We walk most places and use the bus and occasionally a taxi or a friend. It would limit a night life, but we are not party people.
RVGRINGO
The OP asked about gettint to a veterinarian, so I assume that he means with his pet. That would require a private driver, as I do not think that either a bus or taxi would be an option. If both owner and pet are ambulatory, walking is the other option. exyyz
I have used a taxi outside the Chapala bus station to get to the vet. I had the cat in a carrier so there was no problem.
lindadunn
I always use a taxi to take my dog to the groomer. She only weighs 10 pounds and I usually have her in a carrier but not always. Never had any problems or complaints from the driver.
