catinmex
I ran out to bring in the patio cushions; it only lasted about 4 or 5 minutes. What was that?
howardF
Are you sure it wasn't your sprinklers? i live near Ricki's and the sidewalks are dry here.
lcscats
It was a few clouds in Ajijic. We got a few drops. We were in Oaxaca last week and boy were the rainbirds singing and there we got a few drops also. Some of my native friends are saying early rain. Mainecoons
They were talking on the Westher Channel up here yesterday about how the Bermuda (Azores) High pressure system is strengthening early this year and causing rain in the SE U.S. The consensus seemed to be that this system was going to be pretty strong this summer. It drives the trade winds that bring our rains. Keep your fingers crossed and fix those roofs!

ChrisB
The rainy season always has a few false starts. The rainbirds do seem to be early this year. Let's hope for a good rainy season . The lake really needs it and it seems only God could help.

El Saltos
I think the "rainbirds" are not early this year. The rainy season starts the 2nd week of June, every year. We often get a sprinkle or even a shower in April or May. They're not "false starts." The rainy seaon storms come from the east, from the Gulf. When you see one coming down the lake in June you'll know rainy season is here. Anything else is simply a little precipitation.
