stuphel Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 We're heading up to the Great White North in a week or so (sigh) with our two small dogs. We've always stopped in Matahuala and stayed at Las Palmas, as making the border in one day with the pets is too much. However, we could go farther north in one day than Matahuala if we can find a place to stay the night. We could go to Saltillo or Cuidad Victoria, depending on the route. Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel that might fit the bill? We're interested in hearing from someone who has stayed there or can recommend the place based on experience. Thanks. Go Solar Posted April 14, 2013 Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 A great place in Saltillo that is well located and does take pets and is quite a secure oasis: the rooms arebasic but clean and the property is very secure, reasonable, and has a nice pool and lots of grounds & open space.
