All Day
Has anyone here actually done this (donated a foreign plated car to the Mex govt)? If so, what was the procedure. We would like to get rid of our older car without having to drive to Texas.

doberwoman
...or if you don´t sell it, there are lots of charity organizations, for animals, children or elderly that need a donation the most. Govt. needs anything.
Prepasted
About 3 yrs ago, we tried to donate our car to the Red Cross, but were told it was too much trouble for them. It became less expensive to have it moved with our furniture to Fla.
virgogirl
If it meets criteria for selling here in MX, you can use a Carta Responsiva to cover the paperwork on it. It might be better to sell it for a very cheap price to the party you want to donate it to. It may be less red tape than doing a donation.
