Wheels
CAN A NOTARY PUBLIC FROM THE UNITED STATES PERFORM THAT FUNCTION ABROAD? No. The commission of a notary public is limited to the jurisdiction within the particular state in the U.S. for which the commission was issued. go to the us consulate to be legal
lcscats
Only the US consulate can do a US notary signing. Other notaries are only valid in the state they are issued credentials and other states that have reciprical agreements. There are no valid US notaries in Mexico inspite of what people say. Don't take a chance on an not legal transaction. Try asking if they will accept a mexican notary. If they say no the US consulate is the only legal solution here.
