Lake Chapala Dog Center
This monthly pet food drive is held the third Thursday - the 21st - at the Shelter Pet food store in Riberas del Pilar. This monthly event occurs through the cooperation and hospitality of Geoffrey of the Animal Shelter, and representatives of Animal Buddies who are present to assist you. With your purchase you will be helping your choice of animal rescue group. If you can not come to the food drive on Thursday , you can make a purchase of dog / cat food at anytime. When making your purchase, please designate if the pet food is for Anita’s Animals, or your choice of animal rescue group, and the shelter will hold your donation purchase for pickup. After you have made this purchase, you will need to contact the designated rescue group you have selected, and let that group know that there is a paid food purchase awaiting pick up for them at the shelter. There is also a great need for kitten food right now, because of the high volume of young kittens. Please, if you can, help us to feed the less fortunate animals. Geoffrey donates 100% of the profits to the animals.
5Jacks
Is a partially used bag of food welcome as a donation? I hate to throw it out but stopped feeding it since some of my dogs appeared to be allergic to it.
Lake Chapala Dog Center
If you have a partially used bag, I would suggest dropping it off at Dr Pepe's - as it is fairly close by - here are the directions http://www.lakechapaladogcenter.com/main/Pepe.php Dr Pepe does a lot for the animals in this community - and deserves our support
