EX-PAT2011
Does anyone know where I can pay a parking ticket from Chapala. I was legally parked in a hanicapped area,at the Malecon, but I did not get the little ticket from the box. The ticket is only $200 pesos, but if I pay within 5 days, it is only $100 pesos. ichbinsaege
I believe it is at City Hall.
hensley
I paid a parking ticket from Guad at the end of the street Degollado by the park, that is where you pay your car taxes.

No. If it was meter parking on the malecon, that is city, not Transito/vialidad ticket. City hall.
ChrisB
one block past the plaza turn right. You go almost to Christina Park; last block on rightlook for a white building set back. Did you have a valid, government issued permit displayed?
Chapala Man
Parking Tickets, that you have received, for not getting the paid ticket from the meter, or just did not pay when you parked, are paid at City Hall.
EX-PAT2011
Yes, I had a valid handicapped placard hanging from my rearview mirror. Didn't seem to matter.
RVGRINGO
The handicapped sticker only allows you to use the more convenient, designated spot. You still must pay at the meter box and display the receipt on your dash. Pay at the Palacio Municipal.
ChrisB
I thought that I read in the Guadalajara Reporter with a legal placard there was no parking fee in the handicap spot?
