Paying Telmex Phone Bill with Foreign Credit Card

Went online to the Telmex web site to try and pay my phone bill. Got as far as entering the credit card info and hit a road block. Couldn't figure it out and am wondering if anyone has been able to do it. I am trying to use a Mastercard that is registered to a Canadian address. Even though I select Extranero (for foreign cc) the application will not accept a "Postal Code", only seems to want to accept digits instead of letters. Anybody found a way to do this?

Use the Telmex USA site at http://www.telmexusa.com/us/retail-mel-payinusa.html First phone the

1-800-290-1649 between 7-7PM Mon-Sat and rigister. Then you can use to pay at this site. I have done it for 3 years now without any problems. There is a $2.00 USD charge for charges less than $100. The way around that is to pay two $100 or round it up to appromaxiate what the current bill Plus next months bill will be. If my bill is $56 USD I will pay $112.00 USD total.

Telmex USA automatically bills my Amex card. If you go to the site, you will have to register to get a account number. Once done, download the automatic debit form, fill it out and mail or fax it to them.

Hey everybody!

This is a repost of mine from a previous forum that someone had similar issues paying Mexican bills:http://www.chapala.com/webboard/index.php?showtopic=45203

'The bill paying service I've been using to handle my finances in Mexico is regalii.com. Specifically to pay a CFE bill from the US use this link https://www.regalii.com/en/mexico/cfeand follow the instructions. Regalii charges a $3 flat fee per bill paid but is much safer and reliable compared to other places that claim to offer the same service. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away. :D'

Regalii hosts Telcel, Telmex, Nextel, CFE, Gas Natural Mexico, Dish, Skytv, Virgin Mobile, and many more companies in Mexico. Hope this helps!!
