joanne
I'm told that you must obtain your first FM3 from a Mexican consulate in the US/Canada, et al. Has anyone managed to obtain their initial FM3 at Lakeside recently? These new immigration rules are quite bewildering.
phxfunguy
Not possible. From my following of all the info published and discussed on these forums, as of Nov. 12, 2012, you must apply at your consulate back home and qualify under the new financials. FM3/2 no longer exist. Only folks with existing FM3/2's can make the transition to the new forms from here.
Intercasa
Most must be done outside Mexico except if you want a new immigration document due to familiy ties or marriage.

RVGRINGO
Should read as follows, I think: Most NEW APPLICATIONS must be done outside Mexico except if you want a new immigration document due to familiy ties or marriage.
