bdmowers
Chapalas immigration services chief has said the new Visitor's 180-day Permit is issued for up to 180 days, after which time, the visitor must return to their home country. Question: With the old Tourist visa, once could go back to the home country and re-enter with a new Permit. Has that changed? Can one go back and re-enter with a new Permit? Or can you only get one of these Permits and that's it?
OneMexicoExpat
You can come back and re-enter indefinitely. This may be the best option for those who want to come to Mexico to live, but who don't qualify for a visa.
jrod
Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth so long as you do not overstay your 180-day welcome. Note that 180 days is less than 6 months, so count accurately to keep future options open and comply with the law.
