the walkers
The usual lunch or dinner time fare has been excellent in our experience and not overly expensive. Christmas dinner was 1,000 p a pop, minus drinks and was ok, not super. are we reading this right? 1000p per person, drinks not included and it wasn't super? at that price we would expect a room for the night as well.... Canamex
Yes, you read right. I think they overshot the mark a bit, too ambitious that night. The first dinner we had there was excellent from start to finish, except for the crême brulée.
bookwoman
We have had lunch there several times. Delicious food and lovely ambiance. 180 pesos for a three course lunch is about $15 U.S. Right? Try that North of the border!
Happy Feet
I cant imagine anyone thinking this restaurante is expensive. We are a load of cheapies in Ajijic. Its not for every day eating but at $180 for the set meal I will go frequently and never miss the opportunity to take visitors. Your visitors will love it. Finally we have a restaurante that is good and the setting is a beautiful very high end Mexican house probably worth over a million dollars. If the Tapatios found out about it then believe me it would be difficult to get a reservation.
