Viva Mexico

Our church went to Viva Mexico in San Juan Cosala for lunch today. There were about 20 of us but there was no one else. Usually on Sundays for lunch it is full. Augustin said he has had a two week period with no customers. He lost a nephew and two cousins on May 9th - they have yet to find the bodies but are hopeful they will. This is one of the better restaurants in the area and Augustin is one of the nicest people around Lets patronize his restaurant so it will remain open. San Juan looked normal today. The church was full and lots of people on the street. Even a couple of election parades. Lets help our neighbors! We are all in this together.

San Juan Cosola. After the 3rd tope, about ten meters before the steel tower on the left side, turn left. (Toward the Lake.) Pass the church on the left and take a right at the bottom of the plaza on the right. Just before the 2nd intersection, it's on the right. Yellow/gold front, modest sign.

Open daily except Thursday, noon until +eight or nine.

Not only is Augustin a great guy, he's also got a wonderful menu, which he and his wife serve in a superb manner!

Tonight my husband and I went to Viva Mexico for dinner around 6 pm for dinner. Were we surprised! All the tables were full except for two! All the staff were run off their feet, including Augustin. Hope that his business continues like this. Please support this wonderful family and have a very good meal too!
